The house
Leika is a north window.

The maison is named for a grandmother who kept amber in a kitchen drawer, not a safe. We still set stones the way she would have held them: to the light, not to the lamp.
We are not Cartier and we are not trying to be. Parisian houses photograph jewelry as theatre. We photograph it as furniture for the body — linen, limestone, the grey of a Baltic afternoon.
